What do you need to get done?
Start with the document you have. Each tool explains whether processing happens on your device, on the server or through an AI service.
Submit a document with its attachments
Merge whole files, or extract selected pages first. Each page keeps its original size; merging does not automatically make every page A4.
Meet an upload size limit
Remove unnecessary pages before trying compression. Compression uploads your file, can soften images and cannot guarantee a particular file size.
Get text out of a scanned document
Try selecting one line. If you can only select an image, you may need OCR. Converting a scan to Word alone does not necessarily recognise its text.
Add a signature
A handwritten signature places an image on the page. A certificate signature also needs a certificate and verification by the recipient. Check which kind is accepted.
Make a PDF from photos or paper
Convert existing JPG/PNG images, or use your camera to scan paper first. Creating a PDF from images does not automatically add searchable text.
Fix page direction or order
Rotate sideways pages or use Organize to reorder them. Neither task is the same as deskewing a crooked scan. Check every page after saving.
